GEORGE TOWN, Jan 27 — With encouragement and guidance from his friends in the art world, newcomer Koay Sheng Tat is working towards the next stage of his career through sheer determination and diligence. Artist Inspired By Batik Motifs
ART enthusiasts can view the works of artist Mohamed Najib Ahmad Dawa at his first solo exhibition, entitled Loccan, at Galeri Seni Mutiara, Armenian Street, Penang. The artworks feature motifs found in traditional batik sarongs produced and worn in the early 1990s. The 'Serenity' masterpiece, depicting a bird and floral motifs by Mohd Najib.
